A Holy History Turned Haunted

Located in Chilton, Wisconsin, nestled in the area historically known as "The Holyland" on the eastern shores of Lake Winnebago, the story of Jericho Haunted Trinity began in 1871 when German Catholic settlers built their first church. As the congregation grew, a convent house and school building were added to the complex.

Tragedy struck in 1914 when sparks from an agricultural fire ignited the church roof, reducing the structure to ashes. A determined community rebuilt the imposing, fireproof brick church in 1915 that still towers over Jericho today. The church faithfully served parishioners for nearly a century before closing its doors in 2005. Since the final mass was held, the complex has silently collected spirits, evolving into one of the Midwest's premier paranormal destinations.

The Church

Investigators frequently report heavy, clunky footsteps echoing through the main sanctuary and basement. Unseen entities routinely trigger motion detectors near the altar, while the bell tower has produced class-A EVPs, unexplainable light anomalies, and direct ITC device responses during overnight ghost hunts.

The Schoolhouse

In the center of the school's top floor, visitors have reported the chilling sound of distant, ghostly choir singing. Meanwhile, down in the school's basement, Rem Pods and motion sensors are routinely triggered by unseen entities, making it a favorite for rigorous paranormal investigations.

The Convent

Once home to the devoted sisters, the convent is known for phantom footsteps pacing across the attic floor. The second floor frequently experiences unexplainable EMF spikes and disembodied voices, proving no building on the property rests quietly.

Experience the ultimate overnight paranormal investigation at Jericho Haunted Trinity, running from 7:00 PM to 12:00 PM the following day. Standard bookings accommodate up to 10 investigators, with an additional $20 per person for groups exceeding the 10-person cap. For your team's complete safety and peace of mind during your ghost hunt, the convent features a digital code-locking front door for full security. Enjoy modern comforts including running water, a working bathroom, heating, air conditioning, and a full kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, pizza oven, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. We offer 15 to 20 available beds across our three historic buildings (please note that guests must provide their own bedding). To reserve your date, we require a $100 non-refundable deposit via Venmo or PayPal, with the remaining balance payable electronically or in cash at check-in.
